Soft Honey Bread recipe

INGREDIENTS:

3 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 cup + 2 tbsp milk (warm 100-110°F)

1 tbsp yeast

4 tbsp honey

2 egg’s

1 pinch salt

BASE:

2 tbsp white sesame seeds

2 tbsp all-purpose flour

1 tbsp sugar

1 tbsp butter

METHOD:

The First, heat your milk in the microwave for about 30 seconds to about 100 degrees Fahrenheit, add the yeast to the milk and mix that in then let it sit for about ten minutes until frothy.

– You can make this recipe in a stand mixer bowl or using a hand whisk, pour the flour and into the bowl, then using a whisk, mix those ingredients. Add the eggs and honey to the dry mixture then beat with the paddle attachment for about 30 seconds then add the yeast mixture and start kneading the dough until the sides of the bowl is clean and the dough has come together, this should take about ten minutes when using a stand mixer.

– When kneading by hand, it will take a little bit longer but you want to make sure the dough is tacky and smooth. Oil a large bowl then place the dough in it, cover it then let it rise for about one hour, and the dough is doubled in size. While the dough is rising, combine sesame seeds flour, and sugar then butter your baking pan or tray then set it aside.

– Once the dough has risen, lightly flour your work surface then bring the dough to the surface and divide the dough into equal pieces then roll each piece into a little ball and make it nice and round. Take each round dough balls and roll it again with a rolling pin into an oven shape then roll the flatten dough into up into a roll from one end to the other.

– Line the rolls into the prepared baking tray leaving about half an inch between each rolls so that it has enough space to rise later. Cover the rolls with a plastic wrap and let them rise for the second time for about 15 minutes or until nice and puffy. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit then brush the bread with egg whites and top with sesame seeds then bake them for 15 minutes or until golden brown.
